In addition to investing in biofuel research, we’ve also been looking at introducing more electric vehicles to our commercial fleets. Successful trials have already taken place in Wexford, Naas and Southall, helping to reduce our overall dependence on fossil fuels as a company. This is a strategy that we hope to expand to further locations in the coming months and years.
Heat Recovery Strategies
Heat recovery is another effective strategy when it comes to energy efficiency. At locations in Birmingham, Chester and Lancaster, we’ve improved our boiler systems by recovering and repurposing waste heat from our exhaust gases, helping to reduce energy consumption and fuel costs company-wide.
